You are able to join the Prudential Stakeholder Pension Plan for Debenhams Employees immediately and make your own contributions. Upon joining you will be opted-in to SMART Pensions, a more efficient way of paying your chosen contribution. On completion of 12 months service, Debenhams will match your chosen contribution percentage, subject to certain limits, and life assurance will be provided at 3x basic salary.
